5-Ingredient Wisconsin Mac and Cheese

INGREDIENTS LIST

  • 1 package (16 ounces) uncooked elbow macaroni

  • 5 cups milk

  • 4 ounces Gruyere Cheese, shredded (1 cup)

  • 4 ounces North Country Wisconsin White Cheddar Cheese, shredded (1 cup)

  • 1 1/2 ounces Wisconsin Asiago cheese, shredded (1/2 cup)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley and crushed red pepper flakes, optional

Instructions

Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, bring milk to a gentle boil in a Dutch oven over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low; gradually stir in Gruyere, Cheddar and Asiago until melted. Add macaroni; heat through, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
